“The Mother of Us All” is an American opera chronicling the story of Susan B. Anthony and the women’s suffrage movement.

Opera by Virgil Thomson, libretto by Gertrude Stein, Produced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Juilliard School, and New York Philharmonic. Performed in the Charles Engelhard Court at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. February 2020.
